Fall Ball registration is now open!

We completely understand that many of you may have other sports or activities in the fall - the people who run Fall Ball understand that as well. This league is not intended to compete with those other activities; the idea is to try to schedule around them as much as possible, and if you have to miss a game or practice due to a conflict, it's no big deal. This is intended to be a fun, low stress way to continue building their skills, with a side of competition.

We are hoping to have enough players to fill a baseball and softball team at both the Majors level (league age 10-12) and the Minors level (league age 7-9). We will be using the 2019 league age for both baseball and softball, so whatever your child's league age was for the spring season, that will be their league age for the fall (so even if your child cannot play next spring because they have aged out, they can still play Fall Ball this year). If you're unsure of your child's league age, you can determine it by using the league age calculator on our website (be sure to select Little League Baseball or Little League Softball - Girls, as appropriate). Unfortunately, we cannot take players younger than league age 7.

We want to keep the cost as low as possible, so registration for Fall Ball is only $25. Registration closes on August 10, so don't wait to sign up. We will have a Portland Little League shirt for all registered players.

This will be an 8 week season, with 4 home games and 4 road games. The games will take place on Saturdays or Sundays (schedule is TBD) from September 7/8 through October 26/27, and we may hold a practice during the week, too (it's up to the coaches).

We're also going to need coaches, so if you're interested, please let us know (especially if you coached this season, since you've already had a background check completed).

If you have any questions, or if you'd like to be a coach at either the Majors or Minors level, please contact:

For baseball: Lauren Tigerman ([email protected])

For softball: Brian Demoree ([email protected])

Thank you very much, see you in the fall!
